Rajamudy (Malayalam:-രാജമുടി)

This beautiful High range place located in Idukki District of Kerala, India. This small village of migrant farmers and native tribes has been developing as an important spice centre of Idukki. There is a small town in Rajamudy and is connected to all other places in Idukki district. It is one of the major aggreculrial place Idukki District and is situated 2450 feet above main sea level, in the high altitude region of Western Ghats. The location is blessed with natural beauty, constructed by sky kissing mountains, cascading waterfalls, deep canyons of Periyar River, virgin forests, wildlife and spices plantations (cardamom, black pepper, coffee, Vanilla, Coco and etc..).

Rajamudy has a cool and salubrious climate. also has some well known educational institutions and hospitals. Other towns and cities nearby are Murickassery, Thopramkudy, Nedumkandam, Idukki, Cheruthony, Thodupuzha, Elappara, Kumily and Theni (Tamil Nadu).

Rajamudy Waterfall

Only few people know about it as it is in the interior of Idukki Dist. And roads are not there to go to that place. This water fall is available only during Monsoon time.
